• Please do not leave valuables in your room and utilize the safe in your guestroom. Hyatt Centric Murano Venice declines all responsibility in the event of theft of valuables not kept in the in-room safety deposit box
• When accessing and leaving your room, close the door securely and be sure that all doors are locked properly
• Before opening your door to anyone use your peephole and be sure that you know the person. If the person claims to be a hotel employee, verify by calling the Front Desk at the extension “9”
• Do not provide credit card or identity information via telephone. Hotel staff will never ask for this information via the phone.
• Do not leave room keys on tables or any other place where they can be easily lost or stolen
• If you see or hear any suspicious activity, please report your observations to management
• Warning signs on the premises are intended for your safety. We ask that you please read and obey them

• A signboard showing the emergency exits can be found in your guestroom
• Familiarize yourself with the location of the hallway fire exits, alarms and extinguishers
• In the event of a fire signaled by the alarm system, do not use the elevators
• If the alarm is going off or if you are instructed to evacuate, test your door for heat or smoke and, if clear, head to the nearest exit stairwell
• If you must remain in the room, place wet towels under the door and tell the operator your room number
• Turn off all air conditioners and stay low to the floor

• High tide is a foreseeable, natural, short event which is not dangerous. However, it can cause inconvenience for pedestrians and may cause the water buses to change their routes.
• Exceptional tide peaks may occur. They are related to astronomical tides and adverse weather conditions.
• This phenomenon does not happen suddenly: water takes six hours to reach the peak and, once achieved, it starts to recede and gradually return to normal.
• If high tide is forecasted, a warning siren is sounded. Musical tones indicate the level of tide expected: intense, very intense and exceptionally high waters.
• If streets are flooded, it is strongly recommended not to walk barefoot. Wear Wellingtons or plastic bags to protect your feet.
• Don’t panic – the team will take the necessary measures to notify you beforehand whenever needed.
